World Famous Fact Checker

Add the phrase “World Famous” to any menu item and people will gobble it up, no questions asked. Yes, those restaurants’ plans worked perfectly. That is, until I had nothing better to do on a Saturday.
EXHIBIT A: DUGAN'S
PLUG: I was curious about the sign outside that says, "World famous chicken wings."
COUNTER: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
PLUG: So where in world are you famous at?
COUNTER: Buffalo. Buffalo, New York. I'm from Buffalo. That's where they come from. I'm from Buffalo.
PLUG: Oh.
COUNTER: Buffalo, New York.
PLUG: Oh. So your wings aren't world famous. You're saying that chicken wings in general are world famous.
COUNTER: That's where chickens come from. I mean, that's where they got the name from.
PLUG: Oh.
COUNTER: It's a city in New York. Buffalo, New York.
PLUG: That's okay then. That sign is okay.
COUNTER: Thanks.
PLUG: Hey, no problem.
