Hall of Costumes: Plinko

If I had a nickel for every day that I've watched The Price Is Right, I could afford to not work and watch The Price Is Right all day.

I don't remember where I got that box. Probably from work. It's a good box. From work.

Fifteen seconds later, I had it cut into the perfect shape for a wearable Plinko board.

It took me a long time to find the proper material for the pegs. The peg's properties had to be firm, yet provide a slight twang or bounce. The answer was right in front of my nose, the glue sticks from my glue gun.

I wisely decided to spray paint in the area where all the pets of the apartment complex go number two.

Wooden discs from the craft store: 59 cents each.

I've always appreciated how The Price Is Right never updated its 1970's fonts. I painted the same dollar signs found on the TV show. The day that The Price Is Right stops using that skinny microphone is the day the show loses a lifetime viewer.

Keeping with the show's accuracy, I painted stripes on the side of the costume. Blue, yellow, orange, and pink.

You can't tell from the latter picture, but I installed two flashlights behind the dollar amounts so the slots would glow at night.

Voila! Plinko with a mustache.
